The phone company forced me to 'upgrade' so I recently got one of those newfangled phones that doesn't flip open. It's very complicated, but suddenly I'm capable of receiving, maybe even sending, 'text messages' (I believe they're called).
Also there's voice mail, if I remember to check it, which I might, once weekly like clockwork.
I'm
still not carrying a dang phone with me everywhere, though, so don't
expect me to answer or text you back lickety-split.
