Updates every Wednesday
— plus ‼ FLASHES ‼ during the week —
‼ FLASH ‼
Friday 1/31 I'm having breakfast
at 14 Carrot Cake on Eastlake.
Some high points from my last week:
• hung out with Mom & Casey & Mike & the dogs• saw an old sci-fi flick with shorts at the Grand Illusion
• strolled through the U-District and had a so-so burrito
• watched a lot of old David Lynch movies in my recliner
• celebrated the Vietnamese New Year at Seattle Center
• had a lovely lunch at Salvadoran Bakery & Restaurant
I'm big on food, which is why I'm big. In the next few days I'm having my first taste of pho from Phở Thu Thủy in White Center, and trying the carrot cake pancakes at 14 Carrot Cake on Eastlake.
Remember, the next family breakfast at Little Pat's is Friday, February 7.
Below, there's a long list of things I might be up to in the next week. Most of these are uncertain — whether I do or don't depends on my mood and my gout and whether anyone wants to come with.
If you're family, friend, former friend, acquaintance, or
simply
Doug-curious, you're invited to accompany me:
• All events are 'Dutch treat'.
• Please remember the basics of Doug.
And if you're planning something or going somewhere, and you'd like a fat man with flatulence to tag along, I'm that guy. All invitations will be cheerfully considered, possibly even accepted.
