‼ FLASH ‼
Join me for a late breakfast at
Zain (Somali) in Tukwila on Monday 3/17.
Have a hug from Doug!
Here's my maybe-agenda for this week. Whether I do these things or don't depends on my mood that morning, and my gout, and whether anyone wants to come with.
Lunch at Countryside Cafe in Renton, on Thursday 3/13.
Tesla Takedown protest at the University SwastiCar store, Saturday 3/15.
One of the strangest films ever made, Eraserhead, at the Beacon on Sunday 3/16.
1, 2, 3 strikes you're out: UW Huskies vs Pacific Lutheran on Tuesday 3/18.
Rain City Symphony in concert at First Free Methodist Church, on Wednesday 3/19.
Waving banners over Interstate 5, on Thursday 3/20.
But wait, there's more!
What day depends on the weather, but soon there'll be a picnic at Rizal Park,
on Beacon Hill. I've never been there, but the #60 bus goes past, and
it looks sorta ghetto but has fabulous views of downtown. Think I'll
bring a sammich and the book I'm reading... and thou?
And some time soon I'd like to host a board game party — Scrabble, BananaGrams, whatever. Can't host at my boarding house, but *IF* anybody's interested I'd rent a 'living room' space at Missing Piece Games & Cafe in West Seattle on a weekday, around lunchtime. Let me know?
If you're family, friend, former friend, acquaintance, arch-enemy, or
simply
Doug-curious, you're invited to any of the above. Click the links for details, or drop me a note!
• All events are 'Dutch treat'.
• Please remember the basics of Doug.
And if you're planning something or going somewhere, and you'd like a fat man with
flatulence to tag along, I'm that guy. All invitations will be
cheerfully considered, possibly even accepted.
